Johanna Martinez-Rink, LPC (Baton Rouge)
Johanna Martinez-Rink received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2008 and a Master of Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012.
She has provided psychotherapy for the past 8 years in a variety of settings including private practice and community mental health clinics. Johanna specializes in working with individuals struggling through life changes, anxiety, depression, stress, workplace injuries, and PTSD. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, including teens and children as young as 3 years old. Ms Martinez-Rink sees patients for Child & Family Counseling, and Individual & Group Therapy.
For injured workers, her skills include PTSD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Crisis Intervention.
She is passionate about her work and learning new approaches/interventions in the field of behavioral health. She also has experience performing Disability Evaluations for the State of Louisiana, and trauma-specific trainings including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
Ms Martinez-Rink is fully bilingual and fluent in Spanish! She will be seeing patients at the Baton Rouge main office and is also providing teletherapy
